Cross country trucker here. Hated using my phone to watch stuff while on breaks. Could not afford all the pricey addons to my truck to get content. Wanted something cheap but hard working like me. Ended up trying this antenna out. Attached to the rear of my cabin via included mount. Had a ship drill a safe hole in the cabin to run the cable through to my tv in my cabin. Everywhere I go I feel like a local since I get all the local news and what not. Great unit. Told my trucker friends.

So glad we decided to purchase this antenna vs others. It has been working great since set up with not maintenance needed. In the rain and storm weather it still works great. We have it mounted on a 30 ft pole since we have a lot of trees around our home. We also grounded it to protect from storms.

This was my 2nd antenna and a keeper. First one I bought was a cheap paper thin from Walmart. Ended up getting 5 channels. After I upgraded to the antop ufo I know am getting 40. Really does pay to buy quality the first time. Have our mounted above the garage in the front of the house.

Using in the city and I thinks that’s one of the best place for the omni style antennas. I’m getting 55 channels all in HD or above resolution. Really sharp looking unit and glad it is rated to stand up to the rain and what not.

I live in between two really strong broadcast areas. I figured instead of getting two directional antennas I would buy a omni since it is a 360 reception model. The boost really helps with the distance since I am in the middle of both hot spots. Would buy again.

Great for RV traveling. Bought for the kids to watch tv while on road trips. There are much more expensive options out there but we are always wallet conscious. Mounted it on the back of the rv using a pole and mount. Ran the waterproof coax into the cabin by creating a small hole to run it then patched around it. Great thing is no adjusting ever. While we drive or while we camp we can watch the local channels.

Bought for our boat tv. We were considering the very expensive dish mobile antenna but decided against it as we only use our boat around once a month. Was easy to mount with the pole. Ended up getting 65 channels. Depending where we are that changes but that’s to be expected.

Perfect for strong reception areas with multiple towers. Looks great as it performs, we have it mounted on our balcony at our apartment and are enjoying 85 clear channels.

Cordcutting family here. We got tired of paying for cable and streaming services. We don’t allow our kids to watch a lot of tv. We just needed something that would preform reliably but we aren’t paying a arm and leg for. We have a great experience using the antop ufo antenna. Set up was easy enough and we were watching tv in less then 45 minutes of setup and install.

Best one I’ve ever had! Had this mounted on my chimney and crystal clear HDTV! Real nice and have had it installed for 1 years or so now.

Will there be a channel guide showing tv schedule with this antenna?

Erin –
The antenna itself does not come with a channel guide. Most of the newer TV’S have that as an option in the menu section.

Excellent product and the customer service after the sale is also very good. Great pictures on all channels and much better picture quality than the cable I had.

Bought as a Christmas gift for family. We used an old fashioned antenna pole. Also used 100 ft low loss co-ax antenna cable. 86 channels in zip code 34683. So far everyone is happy. The picture quality is so clear.

Excellent antenna for the money. Clear picture and plenty of channels. I would definitely buy it again if I were looking for this type of antenna.

I purchased and installed this antenna a little over a month ago. I did quite a bit of research trying to find what I actually needed to receive quality digital TV signals. I got tired of paying a $50 per month cable bill for many stations, most of which I did not even watch. Before I purchased this antenna, I tried a set of indoor antenna that also included an amplifier. I received a good number of channels (about 12) but had to continually move the antenna and change direction when I switched stations. Not to mention the signal loss when people walked in different parts of the room. I returned the antennas and purchased this antenna. Very simple to install. I mounted it next to my roof eave and snaked the cable through the attic, into my garage and to my coax cable connection where it used to tie in to my cable TV. The signal strength doubled on the majority of my digital stations! All signals are now in the good/excellent range. And there is no more interference inside the house. Before you go out and buy a large and ugly UHF/VHF antenna, I would definitely investigate if this product will meet your needs. Great little antenna! Highly recommended.

Got this antenna after getting frustrated with poor directional reception using rabbit ears. We are about 45 miles from the TV stations and receive all channels without any issue. The antenna is mounted in the attic and is connected into the converter box with a 75 ft cable. I am getting perfect reception in two different rooms from the splitter in the converter box.

I live about 60 miles from the HD broadcasting antennas in my area. The antennas are located in the valley and I am more upland. I put this in my attic and it worked like a charm.

I was very happy with the results. I live in a very rural setting and receive perfect clear reception of 42 channels. This was a real value.

Very pleased with this antenna. Easy to install and tuned in 32 channels immediately. I have the signal split to all tv jacks in home. Nice to know I have options and can drop satellite knowing I get all my network stations without their service.

This is my very first Antop review, and I bought this months ago. I had to take a moment and write a review for ANTOP. Their product, the ANTOP at-415b, is just plain great. If you’re thinking about cutting the chord (for cable TV), and you own a digital HDTV, get yourself one of these! They work extremely well. I was blown away from the moment I plugged this baby in. The images are full HD (1080) rather than the 720 images I was getting from cable. Plus, it’s so much more attractive than your average TV antenna. ANTOP’s customer service is also top notch. The only drawback I could find is the length of the coaxial cable (it’s 33 feet long). But that can be easily remedied by attaching an extension cable. So that’s my review! I wouldn’t bother with any other outdoor antennas. The ANTOP is the way to go.

We have awful cell service where we live so we were a little skeptical this would be much better but, set it up and get well over 50 channels!

Works great. Tried a bunch of the indoor antennas and none of them worked. Installed this on my roof yesterday and now, I have more than 80 channels. My neighborhood normally picks up around 50 channels.

After I got this antenna hookup the correct way I could not believe what a great reception, with all the station around here. It was hard to believe what a small antenna could do. My direction antenna get good reception in a small direction, but not in all direction as this one.

As everyone who has attempted to install an antenna knows, it all depends on your particular circumstances.
I intend to be a cable-cutter and this was the second low-profile antenna I have tested in my quest to find something functional for external installation without completely annoying my neighbors.
I really like this antenna for its compactness/profile and overall functionality. It was very easy to assemble and test and worked very well for UHF reception. Unfortunately it did not receive 2 of the high-VHF channels in my area that I need to pick up, so it did not fully meet my needs. I did try mounting it in multiple locations at different heights, but could not improve the VHF signal. To my surprise the UHF signals were strong everywhere.
In total fairness to Antop, I called before purchasing this antenna to get their technical input on the suitability of this product to meet my needs. After discussing it we agreed there was a 50/50 chance of it fully meeting my needs given the locations of the 3 broadcast towers and mix of UHF/VHF channels in San Diego. So it was my choice to give it a try knowing this.
I would give the antenna 5 stars for design, profile and function for picking up UHF signals, especially in an area where towers are spread out. Unfortunately it did not have enough capability to pick up the VHF channels, so it does not meet that need. As a note, this antenna cannot use a different, stronger pre-amp to enhance the signals.
After testing it I had another conversation with Antop to discuss options and ultimately decided to try Antop 400BV that has a better ability to handle VHF signals. I am in the process of testing that product now.
Kudos to Antop for their support!

Finally found one that works for us. We have tried many antennas in the past, that were always needing to be moved to find a channel. This antenna received all the channels, just sitting in our living room. We have used this for almost a month and it works well. We recommend this for those people who find themselves moving their antenna around to view channels coming in from different directions!

I was debating what kind of antenna to buy because I wanted to get stations from 3 different markets and needed one that could pull in stations from every direction. I called Antop in southern California. Robert answered the phone without even having to press any options. I told him what I was looking for and he spent about 10 minutes on the phone with me. He searched my address from ANTOP signalmaps and said this antenna would probably do what I want. It definitely does. Way better than I expected. Now I do have it mounted about 15 feet high and no obstructions nearby which helps. But the first time I scanned locals, which was late morning, I got 89 channels from the 3 markets. Midday I got 60 channels. And early evening I got a whopping 110 channels. And I’m not close to any of the markets. I’m 55 miles from the towers in my home market, 75 miles from another and 90-95 miles from the third market. I just installed today but if I remember down the road I will give an update. You have to use the booster that comes with it by the way. Thank you again Robert.

This antenna far exceeded my expectations. I was currently using an indoor antenna an was receiving some of the local stations. After reading the description and the specifications of the Antop antenna, I decided to buy. After installation I performed a channel search and to my surprise, the number of detected stations was more than I had expected. The reception and clarity of the picture per station is fantastic. I recommend this product. Very easy to install, set up and use.

Product is in fact a noticeable improvement over a directional antenna. I am getting East and West broadcasts w/out having to turn it.
However, it was shipped in the same thin box you would see on the store shelf. No brown durable box. No protective packing. Not even tape covering the box opening tabs. See picture. Crazy eh? But it arrived undamaged.

Great OTA antenna! The amp/cell block module that comes with it is very good. I replaced a long-disconnected DISH receiver with this antenna in the same spot as the existing J-arm and am getting 33 channels, nearly all 1080i and many with 5.1 channel audio. For grins, I disconnected the included amp and only picked up 12 channels, so the amp is definitely beneficial. If you have more than one TV to hook up, definitely buy additional amps; they are only about $12 each. I didn’t have an easy way to power the amp before the splitter, which is why I’m using two amps instead of the single one included. My only gripe is that the coax connection on the antenna itself is a bit weak and I broke the ground solder joints off of the internal PCB. It was a bit of a chore to take apart, as there are A LOT of screws which hold the unit together, especially the antenna elements inside, but that is a good outdoor construction. Once apart, I just used some solid copper wire stripped from spare household 12/2 wiring and re-soldered the ground connections to the connector. Works like a charm! Just be careful and don’t over-tighten the coax to this antenna.

DAY ONE REVIEW: It works, I don’t get any more or less channels than a cheaper directional antenna, however the signal quality is a lot better. I’ve always got static depending where I’m sitting in the room. With this one, I don’t have that problem. While I don’t think it’s really work the price, but if it last forever, I don’t know why it wouldn’t, I mean it’s all encased in plastic and plastic last well basically forever, then it will be worth it.
My directions antenna had a 85 mile claim, it pick up 30 miles at most. This antenna had a 65 mile claim, it’s the same, 30 miles at most.
I literally have 3 towers that are 63 to 64 miles away, that I’ve never been able to pick up. But can’t even pick up the 52 mile away tower.
In the end, a cheaper direction antenna will work for me, however you can spend a long time adjusting it, turning/tilting it and I could never get it just right. With this, you just have to mount it and done.

I have tested out a few antenna so that I could find one to receive all of the Network channels and more, and this one is fantastic! I live in NC and an area that may have a mountain in the path to the towers, but I installed it high in the attic and it picked up at least 22 channels (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, ION, meTV, etc…) I was also able to connect 3 TVs, using the DC power passing splitter. I am beyond pleased and highly recommend this antenna. Make sure you use the correct type of splitter, and the newer high performance coax cables worked best for me.

I bought this to cancel my Directv account. I was shocked to see that HD from the antenna was much more pronounced than Direct.

We live in a rural community with major network towers scattered in all directions at distances of 25 to 50 miles. Setup was a breeze using the mount and cable from old satellite dish took less than half hour. Had our TV scan for new channels and locked in the major networks and about 20 others. Signal is great with no dropouts even during storms. Now we have cut the cable and pay internet only, ROKU saving over $100/month.

Awesome. Good bye ridiculous cable bills. 180 cable channels and absolute junk for material. This unit attached right to our Directv dish. We now get 28 channels. The wierd thing is that the picture quality is better than with cable. We don’t understand why, but we’ll take it.

Easy to put up and pickups better than I thought it would, I live in a area in between two major cities and I get stations from both now, pickups great and even works well in heavy rain and wind.

We live in a rural community with our “local” stations having their transmitters seemingly in all directions. We recently “cut the cable” and needed an outside antenna for our local stations. Installation was a breeze total time about an hour. We now receive 25 channels including the major networks. Transmitters are 25 to 50 miles away.

I caught bunch of channels with it. I mounted it to the pole that was used to mount a satellite dish and reused the dish coax wire. Face it toward the TV broadcast general area.
Granded, some of the channels has weak signal. Better than a indoor leave antenna!

Just switched to streaming and I had an indoor antenna for my downstairs tv and needed another one for my upstairs tv to get the local channels. I got this one after looking at reviews and it works great. I put it in the attic and it is getting all my local channels even the ones that my indoor antenna doesn’t pick up. No complaints.
